ARTIST STATEMENT: This image is based on a crumbling stone wall I encountered while biking along Patriot's Path near Morristown. Since I have poppies growing on my property it was easy for me to envision them popping (pun intended) out of the rocks. I streamlined and stylized them a bit for added crispness. I built
